We are excited to announce that Timo Siebert will be joining us at Charter Oak as our new Director of Racquet Sports. Timo comes to us from Bosse Sports in Sudbury, where he served as the Director of Tennis for nearly 10 years. While at Bosse Sports, Timo developed all of the Junior Tennis Programs, the Tournament Training Program and established a very competitive Adult Tennis Program. Timo brings extensive tennis knowledge and coaching experience. He coached WTA player Alexandra Stevenson in 2009 and was named the PTR State Member of the Year in 2018. Timo works with all levels of tennis players. From children (who are just picking up a racquet for the first time), nationally ranked juniors, and adults who play for fun and those who prefer a more competitive atmosphere. Background: A native of Bremen, Germany, Timo attended the College of Charleston South Carolina where he captained and played #1 singles and doubles. In 2003 he was selected as the Most Outstanding Player for the Southern Conference. In the ATP World Tour he had a career high ranking of 1,156 for singles and 1,459 for doubles. Timo believes that in order to become a great tennis player it is important to give the players technical, tactical, physical and mental instruction. Depending on age and ability of the player, Timo customizes his instruction style to help achieve the player’s maximum potential. Building a personal relationship between coach and player is the key for long-term success. Tennis should always be fun – It is a lifetime sport!
