There are not enough unbelievable words in my vocabulary to describe how much we loved Charter Oak. We didn't have an appointment but the long drive up to the beautiful clubhouse/ballroom was so breathtaking we decided we needed to go inside. Once we booked, our communication with the coordinator Joanne started. She alone was reason enough to book Charter Oak, she was amazing. We stayed in constant communication and it was so effortless. She made the whole process so comfortable, organized, and stress free. Besides the obvious beauty of the venue itself, the thing we loved most about the venue was you truly believed you were the only one who was going to be having a wedding the entire year. They pay such attention to all your needs, and aren't a wedding factory like some other venues. The food, no joke, is amazing. Some how it was even better with 200 people than when we went for the tasting with 6 people (which was probably one of our favorite meals ever). The options for food our endless, and they will literally do everything they can to fit your taste buds. Thank you Joanne and the rest of the Charter Oak staff for truly the most perfect day we could have ever imagined. 3 months out and our friends are still talking about how much they want to go back! -Ryan 

Joanne was very helpful, professional, easy to work with and comes with a lot of experience. She made us feel comfortable with the whole process and we always felt at ease talking to her. She was upfront and clear about all the costs associated with booking this venue, which was important to us because we have heard bad stories about hidden fees that venues try to sneak in your bill. She worked with us to make a plan that best fit our budget and vision for the wedding. There were things we didn't even know that we needed that Joanne was proactive about so that we had peace of mind! She was easily accessible and prompt with her reponses. Halfway through the process we were also introduced to Ashley, who was equally professional, warm, experienced, and on top of things! We can't say enough about the Charter Oak team. There are not enough great things to say about our wedding experience with Charter Oak and of course, Joanne. From the beginning I knew I was in great hands and didn't need to worry about a thing. Not only is the facility stunning, the food was incredible and the professionalism even better! Joanne was one of the most helpful people that I have ever met. She was always prompt to respond. She made this whole planning process EASY! I enjoyed every interaction with her and always left feeling calm and like everything was under control. We just had our wedding at Charter Oak Country Club on 8-13-2016. Let me just say that it was an absolute pleasure working with everyone on the Charter Oak staff, they really went above and beyond. On the months leading up to the wedding, Joanne and Ashley had everything completely under control. Joanne was prompt when it came to returning emails, she was organized, and every single deadline was mapped out to the point that there was virtually no work for me. I can't even tell you how much stress they took off of my shoulders when it came to the wedding planning process. I had 100% confidence that everything would go as planned on the day-of, and it absolutely did. Plus, they are just such cool people- working with them was an absolute pleasure. The setting is gorgeous- their cocktail reception area is elegant and clean with a gorgeous mahogany bar, large French doors leading to a white porch, a fireplace, and gold light fixtures. The ballroom is gorgeous, there is room to dance and walk around. The food is unbelievable and they give you a really nice tasting a few months before. All positives, no negatives- go with Charter! -Amy

Last night’s party was flawless. All the guests were so gracious and so happy to attend a holiday function at Charter Oak. Similarly, WE are thankful for the ease of hosting there!
